Featured Does your perception of game graphics feel like it scales with the times?

Oh my god I remember those good ol' times of Wing Commander. Back in those days I didn't have my own PC to fully appreciate that series, but when I had the chance to visit my Uncle I played the crap out of it. The games that blew me outta my seat and still do were HL2 and Crysis. Half-Life 2...

Featured NVIDIA Announces GeForce RTX 30 Series

Maybe not immediately at launch as I don't even play many games at max settings anymore aside from single player titles. I'm currently on a 1440p 144hz & a 1080p 240hz monitor and for competitive online games I usually play at low settings. Once there's a game that really requires all that...

    PSO2 Windows Store Fix

Oh did you start playing PSO2? I used to be an MMORPG guy but have since stopped because of the time commitment

The Last of Us Part 2

Update: I'm about 14 hours in and I'm loving it so far, especially the encounters with both enemies and monsters I won't give anything away story wise, but the fights themselves are awesome. You can choose to be stealthy or just go guns blazing -- I try to do the former as ammunition and...

    Horizon: Zero Dawn

Dang that's great to hear. I played it on the PS4 for a little and the story starts out great. I might have to pick it up for PC later then.

    Horizon: Zero Dawn

I will have to check out that video when I have some time, but this sounds extremely disappointing.

    Steam Summer Sales 2020

Death Stranding and Horizon Zero Dawn I will definitely be picking up later. Right now I'm working on Fire Emblem Three Houses, and I have to play Last of Us Part II and Final Fantasy 7 Remake for the PS4 afterwards lol.

The Last of Us Part 2

PS5 or Xbox Series X - or both? Or none?

True dat. It took some time getting used to those controls (or maybe they improved upon them in latter games), but it definitely would've been easier with a mouse & keyboard. If they remastered it for the PC I would instantly pounce on that purchase. For me the set pieces were what I loved most...

    Steam Summer Sales 2020

I've been looking at 2D side scrollers like "GRIS." If you haven't played Hollow Knight before, I highly recommend it. Retails for $15, but 50+ hours of gameplay. If you have any 2D side scrolling Indie games you can recommend, I'm all ears.

PS5 or Xbox Series X - or both? Or none?

You'll love the Uncharted series. If you've played the recent Tomb Raiders, you'll really see where Tomb Raider drew their inspiration from. They're story-driven, action packed and the pacing is wonderful. The gunfights, puzzles, and scripted sequences can keep you playing for hours.

    Steam Summer Sales 2020

Has anyone picked up any games from the steam summer sales going this year? Or hidden gem recommendations? I have yet to pick up anything, I'm looking towards some indie titles.

PS5 or Xbox Series X - or both? Or none?

If you stick to games from studios like Naughty Dog or Square Enix you're less likely to get buggy games. Those are strictly single player and it's usually what I buy consoles for -- not so much for online multiplayer games. I don't even deal with PlayStation's online services (PS Plus). Some...
